LED strip light market is a mixed bag, regular manufacturers products and cottage factory products price difference is very big. If the quality of LED strip light from the professional and technical to identify, I am afraid that many customers do not have the ability. But we can come from the simple appearance of the initial identification, can basically distinguish between good and bad quality.
Mainly from the following aspects to identify:
1, look at the solder joints. Formal LED light strip manufacturers produce LED light strip is the use of SMT SMD process, with solder paste and reflow soldering production. Therefore, the LED lights on the solder joints are relatively smooth and the amount of solder will not be more, the solder joints are arc-shaped from the FPC pad to the LED electrode extension.
2, look at the quality of FPC, FPC copper and calendered copper two kinds of copper, copper foil is convex out of the copper plate, if you look closely, you can see from the pad and the FPC connection. The calendered copper is closely linked to the FPC as a whole, can be bent at will and will not appear pad off phenomenon. Copper-laying board if too much bending will appear pads off, maintenance of high temperature will also cause pads off.
3, look at the LED strip light surface cleanliness. SMT process using the production of LED strip light, its surface cleanliness is very good, can not see what impurities and stains. Using hand soldering process production of cottage version of the LED strip, its surface no matter how to clean, there will be residual stains and traces of cleaning.
4, look at the packaging. Legitimate LED strip will use anti-static coil tray packaging, 5 meters a roll or 10 meters a roll, packaging and then outside the anti-static moisture-proof bag seal. The cottage version of the LED strip using recycled coil tray, no anti-static moisture-proof bag, look carefully at the coil tray can be seen on the outside to remove the traces left by the label and scratches.
5, look at the label. Regular LED strip bags and rolls of material disk will have printed labels, not print labels.
6, look at the accessories. Regular LED tape will be attached to the box inside the instructions and tape specifications, but also equipped with LED tape connector or card holder; while the cottage version of the LED tape box is not these accessories, because some manufacturers after all, or can save is to save.
